Hi Bees!
I am going to join all you lovely ladies in planning a wedding for January 2014
I feel quite a bit behind, or like I have so much ahead of me.
What do you ladies think I should focus on first given my time schedule?
Drawing up a guest list this weekend, along with finalizing a top 3 list of venues to contact for availability and pricing.
Following that we will arrange for a venue to be booked as save the dates (and probably invites for later) to be printed and addressed.
What then?!

I bought a guide. The real simple wedding guide tells you how far in advance to do each thing. You can get it for about 10 dollars from places like safeway or target, its in the magazine section. It was really very helpful, or I would not have known where to start!

The first things to sort IMO are:
Venue (then date, make sure you can get married where you want!)
Photographer (the good ones get booked up early)
After that, sort out a celebrant(or church?), if you are wanting a band or something do that early, then dress. The rest you can do as appropriate, but these are the things to get nailed down! I booked my Tassie venue in February, and there were already weekends taken, so hop to it!
Edit: Oh and also, ask your BMs 🙂

@Kriddlelouise:
Get a dress AT LEAST by next month, it can take 6-8 months for it to arrive, and you will need time for alterations as well! The venue should be a priorty, they book up really fast, as well as the photographer.
