Aww, hun, I’m sorry you’re feeling worried! I’ve not been there myself but many of my friends had the same exact fears in the weeks before their weddings. I can assure you that yes, it’s normal; Yes, you can make it work; And, you won’t fail.

Marriage is a big commitment and a major life changer. Stay focused on the things you love about your Fiance and all the ways he’s right for you. You can’t control what will happen in the future and you’re not your parents. As long as you and your Fiance want things to work, they will work.

Maybe tonight’s a good night to grab a cocktail with your Fiance and relax!

I feel this way at times too and just like you I have no intensions of calling off the wedding nor do I feel like I don’t/shouldn’t marry Fiance. We have a house together and I always knew that I wanted to marry him but the future and the not knowing part is very scary to me.

@Legallyblondiebride:  Funny, I posted something similar yesterday.  It’s the fear of the unknown, I think.

Well, you can really only resolve to work your hardest to fix things if those things do come up… and I think that’s the key to a successful marriage.  You can’t sit here and say, “I’ll never get divorced,” or “things will always go perfectly for us.”  But you can resolve to work when things get hard and try your best to make it as happy a marriage as can be.  I think THAT’S what marriage is all about.

I think that those feelings are normal and I had them too. I was having really bad cold feet but then it went away and I am so happy that I married my husband, He is the best!
