My son will be 6 in just a few days, well he keeps coming into my bed to sleep, it has been going on for months now. I wake up and put him back and bed and before I know it he is once again in my bed! He does this multiple times through the night! So much that I am almost ready to put a lock on my door so he cant get in! UGH I am now waking up 3-4 times EVERY night to move him! I am tired and cranky! Anyone else go through this?

Okay, I have a 3 and 4 year old and they always like clockwork come to my bed around 4 in the morning, crawl up under me and proceed to continue sleeping.*sighs*
I don’t really mind so much now but I do wonder what would happen when I do get married. Also, my SO doesn’t have bio kids of his own. Gosh, such a tough call. I honestly think that you would just have to keep putting him back there and I would think that sooner or later he will just get used to it. Hopefully, he isn’t having nightmares. Or how about setting up a place on the floor for him until he gets used to it and then weening him out of the room from there? I also read somewhere that maybe you can start rewarding him the next morning if he is able to stay in his bed.
