This year will probably just throw together something. We don’t hit costume parties since we have a almost preschooler. Last year was his first year Trick or Treating.  He is going to be Mickey Mouse (he lovessss Mickey).  Since I won’t be at the office this year I don’t plan on dressing up.  We have a costume party and last I won 2nd place with the Fairy costume I made.

Though I have looked at costumes for myself. I can’t see spending an arm/leg for them and am so tired of costumes that are so slutty looking.  99% of the costumes looked at for women were slutty.

I’m so excited for Halloween this year!  We’re not dressing up for the day of because our house gets over 100 trick or treaters every year and it gets crazy, but we got invited to a costume party that Saturday.  I’m really conflicted though, because my wedding is on September 27th and I want to do a post-wedding chop on my hair right after.  My hair is super long (almost halfway down my back) and it’s getting really annoying.  But, if I keep my long brown hair for another month and do a braid, I could pull off an awesome Lara Croft costume.  I don’t know if I could hold out for a whole extra month of this long hair, though.

I LOVE HALLOWEEN! Every year we have an outrageous party. It’s literally my favorite time of year! This year I’m thinking of being a Day of the Dead girl. I’ll probably just use and accessorize a plain black dress I have but paint my face super crazy like a sugar skull.

Unfortunately, my Darling Husband will NOT get rid of this giant inflatable penis costume and wears it every single year. It drives me absolutely crazy. I’m thinking about hiding it or… poking a hole in it… so it no longer inflates.

Already got DD’s costume! She’s going to be a little Godzilla, because I always build little towers of Jenga and she rushes over to smash them to bits. So the costume seemed fitting, and I’m sure we can get some funny video of her smashing towers while dressed as Godzilla 🙂

Darling Husband has an adult-sized dino costume that he will wear, so they’ll be my two little dinosaurs. I will probably just wear the flying squirrel costume since we won’t be going out anywhere, just answering the door for trick or treaters. Wamp womp … oh well; Halloween will return to my life with a vengeance in a few years when Dear Daughter is older!

I normally love Halloween, but bar exam results for my state are publically released on Halloween so very few people I know are making plans (in case we have to spend the evening hidden away with our phones off since everyone will know who passed and who failed).  I’m not getting a costume this year just in case but if I pass I’ll probably dress up as an extremely happy Dizbee wearing her costume from last year (Juliet from Lolipop Chainsaw)

I’m planning to dress up as Ruby from Supernatural. Her outfit is pretty easy to pull together, just need a few props and I’ll be set. I wish I could get a pair of those contacts that black out the whole eye but I can’t afford something like that. I can’t imagine they would be comfortable, either!

Darling Husband thought about dressing up as Sam but looks more like he would pull off Bobby’s look the best. Lol

Oh my gosh, I’m sooooo excited for Halloween this year! Which is sorta weird since I don’t tend to even like Halloween that much, but this year my SO and I will be in Disneyland! The exact dates are still a surprise to me so I don’t know if we’ll be there exactly on Halloween night, but I DO know we’ll be there on one of their special trick-or-treat nights so we’re definitely getting costumes!

Originally we wanted to dress up as Fix-It-Felix and Sgt. Calhoun from Wreck-It-Ralph since a lot of people have mentioned they pretty much fit our personalities perfectly haha. Ultimately though we decided that Calhoun’s costume was both too complex and expensive to work on, so instead I’m going as Stitch and he’s going as Lilo-so much cheaper and WAY adorable. I’ve wanted to dress up as Stitch for a long time anyway, and now I have my Lilo <3

I love halloween! My family always does a big party every year and this year we decided to dress as Beetlejuice and Lydia.  Found a dress now I just gotta add some tulle to it.

Halloween used to be my favorite growing up. It was my mom’s favorite holiday and we always had a HUGE (like 200+ people) party at our house. After she passed away I’ve never been as into it. Hopefully that will change one day when I have kids.

I’m so excited for Halloween this year too, but not because we’ll be dressing up! We go to school at UGA and that is the weekend of the Georgia/Florida game. School is out that Friday for the game so we are going to Jacksonville Thursday night and Friday we are going to the big tailgate concert that Florida Georgia Line are putting on. This is my senior year and last football season, but also my first time at the GA/FL game! It’s going to be interesting to see what all the hype is about surrounding the “world’s largest cocktail party”!

I’m going as Tina from Bob’s Burgers, I love going to the bars dressed as something intentionally unattracive that doesn’t even require make up

AllyCRN:  Fiance and I used to enjoy Halloween. Now we have shift work, and get done at 11pm each night. Might meet some friends out at the bar like last year, but not dressed up. Not enough time to leave work, dress up & get out to meet people. We will however be going to a theme park which has their own Zombie Invasion. Guests get to dress as zombies for one night only during their Halloween season. It’s this Fri, which is SUPER early for Halloween events, but its starting to cool off & feel more like fall here.

We also don’t have many trick or treaters in our area (we don’t get any in our apt complex, but some houses MAY). We live amongst many Amish & Mennonite, so Halloween is not a celebrated holiday.

we do like to decorate for all the holidays, so we make it festive that way 🙂
