@brendaparisbride:  What does your dress look like?  I’ve seen statement necklaces work nicely, even with embellished bodices. It all depends on styling and confidence 🙂

@brendaparisbride:  Hmmm…see I do think that’d be too much for me since the jewelled embellishment along the neckline is meant to ~double~ as a necklace. I’d go for awesome statement earrings for maximum sparkle.

All that being said, both your necklace and your dress are gorgeous. And all that really matters is that you feel beautiful and fabulous. Just because I or someone else would accessorize otherwise doesn’t mean you can’t rock your sparkle with pride. That’s the beauty of variety! 😀

Plus, I like that the necklace follows the v shape of your neckline. I think it’ll make a big Old Hollywood-glamorous statement (and if that’s your personality…go for it):

@brendaparisbride:  Gosh that is an amazing necklace! I agree with pp thou that your neckline wouldn’t work well with that neckalce but yoou could totally do a nice statement bracelet or earrings

I wore statement earrings

These were mine

This is from our day after the wedding photoshoot which shows them the best on

Here they were on the wedding day

@brendaparisbride:  Thank you!

I really love statement peices and LOVE that necklace above! Have you already bought your dress? I do feel thou that earrings and bracelet would work best with that dress if you have already bought it.

I love statement jewels! I probably won’t wear anything too outlandish because my dresses are very detailed already, but I think they look amazing with fairly simple gowns. Some inspiration:

I personally think that necklace would be a bit too much with the dress.  Since the dress is a halter top, the chest area where the necklace would fall already has stuff going on.  I would avoid it and go for fun earings.

I wore a large statement necklace and a statement headpiece that are definitely non-traditional (we got married in a contemporary art museum, so it definitely fit the environment!)
