I am undecided about how to accessorize my dress. I am usually not a big necklace wearer and I think big earrings are a lot of fun. But does my dress need something? I thought it could pull off standing alone with just earrings but family members are asking are you sure you don’t want to wear a necklace?

Here is me in the dress pre any fittings. This was the day I bought it. I will be wearing a long cathedral veil that has cascading flowers on it.

Fmjxn: I think doing a statement necklace and maybe some smaller earring would look gorgeous with your dress.

Depends on whether or not your hair is up or down, in my opinion. I had my hair up so you could see my statement earrings, if my hair had been down, then I would have worn a statement necklace with some simple stud earrings. Either one would go with your dress, since it’s strapless, just consider your hair!
Here’s what I wore 🙂 I also bought a matching necklace just in case I changed my mind, but once my hair was finished, everyone agreed to go without it. I bought the earrings at Franchesca’s Closet and BaubleBar.com has some gorgeous and incredibly affordable statment pieces!

I think you’d look gorgeous ANY way you decide! If it were me, I’d wear both because…you know…go big or go home! 😉

I change my vote. I would do both! But I do agree with @kaedyn that it depends on whether you hair is up or down. If your hair is up, I would have gorgeous earrings with a nice necklace but not as grand and “statement” and myabe just have a very fancy bracelet. If your hair is down, I would have studs, statement necklace and simple bracelet.
