mrsautumn36 :  I found it very educational to fraternize with people of many different social classes because I learned a great deal about how socioeconomics influence values.

I imagine they were very grateful that you deigned to step off your privileged pedestal to enlighten them with your brilliant gems and pearls of wisdom (or what did you call them… provocative statements?). Lol

    slomotion :

Peasants do not need carbs. You may have extra protein and vegetables. laughing

Hilariously, I actually volunteered in a shelter! LOL I was in the kitchen and then I was doing admin work.

It bothered me when people complained about the food because it was actually very good in terms of quality. There was organic meat and vegetables donated from farms.

    beantime :

You do realize that there are more social classes than lower ones right? I hope so.

I also said that I “learned” rather than imparting any wisdom. Reading is fundamental.

mrsautumn36 :  Well quite frankly you sound incredibly condescending. So pardon me if it sounds like you are talking down to  ANY class you reference. It doesn’t sound like you learned much about relating to people. I actually have great respect for how OP chooses to live her life. I would love to stay at home in pursuit of new experiences. My husband and I subscribe to a FIRE lifestyle as we would both like to pursue a more carefree lifestyle. And if he loved his job and wanted to continue working, I would happily allow him to work while I retired early. I definitely get it.

However, I also appreciate people bringing a different perspective and challenging OP to consider all angles of a very consequential decision. You, saying that people are saying what they are, because they are jealous of your privilege, is just simply obnoxious.

I will continue to share my viewpoint as I see fit and you can keep seething. Welcome to the internet.

Jealousy is often the reason for unprovoked cruelty. If working women are so independent, strong, etc why else would so many of them aggressively attack SAHWs?

Yes, I do talk down to those who love to shame others for choices that are unusual. I do that because hating people just because they do not work is stupid.

mrsautumn36 :  I’m not seething at all! If you want to make yourself out to be a victim, you do you! If you want to reduce people challenging your opinion and how you communicate it down to them being jealous of you, I don’t see that as constructive. People don’t have to love everything about you and what you do. You will be challenged, so welcome to the internet to you too!

Ooooh I’m so scared of being challenged by randoms online who dish out what they can’t take or show their asses by perfectly demonstrating their insecurities!

The next time you rant at someone, try to be more original than repeating what they say to you. You may also want to try reading properly so that your statements sound less foolish.

I continue to be amazed that the mods allow this drivel to go on and on but leap to close a thread about purses because it’s “old”.

mrsautumn36 :  No one is ranting except you. The more you talk, the more you make my point, so I am done engaging with you.
