You can eat ice cream every once and a while and not gain weight — you just have to exercise a bit more that day!  I’d hope your Fiance isn’t taking your to DQ every day…  Once or twice a month is certainly fine to indulge.

Why not get something small that will not derail your diet?  A small or childs size cup of their soft serve should be under 200 calories.

Just get something small! I’ve recently started running here in the past few months and it has really kept my weight off, without me altering my diet much at all. I try to be a little healthier of course, but I don’t deprive myself of the occasional snack. I know everyone’s bodies are different but I doubt a treat here and there will kill you! Stay active, drink water, etc…

Kiddie size vanilla cone ~ 170 calories, small vanilla cone ~ 220 calories.

But also tell him point blank that he needs to be more supportive and don’t go that often. Fitness is a way of life, not a wedding dress size, and he can’t be sabotaging you in the long run. Go for a walk together, go to the park, do something “fun” besides eat out. Or tell him to go to DQ on his lunch break without you and leave you alone about it! 🙂
