Good question – I just went through this the other day! We used Vistaprint and ended up going without envelopes, both for the price and also because we figured isn’t that the point of postcards? I do have my fingers crossed that they are sturdy enough. Anybody else use Vistaprint to do postcard STDs?

I say go without the envelope. If it’s a standard postcard size, then you can also save on postage.

An envelope defeats the purpose of a postcard. (Wedding etiquette rules do not change this fact), nor do they require you to use an envelope for every piece of correspondence) Plus you are required to use higher postage. If you want the envelope, skip the postcard.
