Very cute, I love that picture!
To be honest, it is cute but the whole of the side with the picture on looks very amateur. The white writing is hard to read on top of that beautiful sky and the purple and green doesn’t work because the green is so much brighter than the names in purple. The November 13 bit is lovely and works really well. You probably won’t like this suggestion but is there any way you could do the names in green too and completely cut out the Save The Date header? If you need it to say Save The Date, maybe put it somewhere else and/or in a different colour. Sorry to be harsh but I hope you’d rather I were honest if it’s in the interest of helping you.
It’s ok, rip me apart. 😉 I’m not offended, once Fiance looks over my shoulder and say “I love it,” I get kind of stuck.
I had a different font for Save the date that I thought stood out, but when I was working on the back at work and used Edwardian Scipt out of lack of options, Fiance says he loves it.
Maybe I should stop showing him until I’m happy.
I like it except for the same things that VickyAurea pointed out. I think a blue font would look better (matching your outfits and the sky) but I’m guessing the purple/green are your wedding colors? I love the photo and I love the informational side, but I think the font/color needs changed/removed on the front.
I love the postcard idea! I think I would take off the ‘Save the Date’ on the front of the card and change the colors of your names or take them off the front since they are also on the back. I love the back with the calendar and heart. Very cute!
Do you guys think the front needs to say Save the Date? I don’t want it to get tossed out with junk mail… There are some people on the list that we haven’t seen in years.
I think most people would turn the postcard over. But if you want it on there, maybe make it a little smaller? I feel like it covers up a lot of your pretty picture.
or should I go back to the original photo?
I like the original photo best because of all the color in it! Is there any way to make your names fit so that it isn’t on your arm? I don’t know why (maybe my OCD lol!), but it keeps jumping out at me.
What about putting the green “Ross & Michelle” text in the top left corner, like in the second update picture, and using “Save the Date” the way you have it in the bottom right hand corner? I still feel like the blue is washed out in the sky, but the green would stand out. 🙂
