- Wedding: May 2011
We sent these back in November, but I thought I would share my Save the Date postcards and my good experience with Visaprint.
Armed with my fiancé’s camera, tripod, a few accessories, and my dog, we took these pictures at some local tabby ruins. I used a bank picture frame when we took the pictures, and photoshoped them later to look kind of chalkboardish. We are also using bunting for the wedding, so I incorporated that a bit for our STD picture.

Vistaprint review: I had a great experience with Vistaprint! I waited until their 100 free postcards sale and got a great deal. I only had to pay $2.50 twice to upload my front and back pictures. The shipping was a little pricy at around $10 but it’s still hard to beat $15 for 100 postcards! They have several shipping options, and I opted for the cheapest 21 day shipping. I highly suggest this if you are not in a big hurry because my order still ended up shipping 2 weeks earlier than expected! The color quality wasn’t perfect, but I think they still turned out really good! I also used them for my DIY invitations, and I’ll share those soon.
Finally, we really wanted to include our dog in the photo, but she wouldn’t look at the dang camera. With that being said, here are some photos that didn’t make the cut..
