So I ordered my Save-The-Date Cards from Vistaprint earlier this month and got them today! My first issue arose when I was putting them in their envelopes and realized I was one short. I ordered 90 but only recieved 89
. I called Vistaprint and they put in an order for 10 more right away.
Fast forward to a couple hours later when my mom came home and I gave her one and she was like why did you make your name pink and the rest of the lettering blue? It was then that I went back and looked over all the Save-The-Date Cards again and 2/3 of my blue and grey STD’s have pink lettering on it somewhere. So I called up Vistaprint again and they are sending me the entire order again.
Now I am going to have an extra 99 save the dates! Any suggestions of what I should do with them? Has any one else had problems with getting their Save-The-Date Cards ready? When are you all sending them out?

Hmm I don’t know what you can do with the extras, but that is good that they are sending you all new ones. I am thinking of ordering STD’s from vista print.
How is the print quality?

Thay look great! The I love the quality of them. The best part is they are light enough that I will be able to send them using only one stamp.

Not sure if you’re up for some DIYing but you can cut the picture out and use them on something else…like on the back of your favor tags if you’re having them??

@icetea: I’ll second that idea.

No idea how to use all those Save-The-Date Cards. I ordered postcard stds from vistaprint using the recycled paper (I don’t like the glossy postcards) and they look great!

Vistaprint sent our STD’s with a grey discolouring on the black area. They issued a full refund, we redesigned them and had them printed elsewhere (cheaper, I might add) and we threw the old ones out.
I wouldn’t feel bad about throwing the old ones out.
For the record, we were a month behind in getting ours out, but since it’s so far ahead it doesn’t really matter. I’ve still got 5 or 6 that I can’t send because Fiance hasn’t gotten me the addresses yet.

@Beaukat: Where’d you have yours printed for cheaper than Vistaprint? Thanks.

I actually had a groupon so I only spent roughly $30 out of pocket.

@lolot: Whoops, sorry for taking so long to respond! We got them printed at Print Three, actually! I’m not sure where you’re located, but try the “Business” printing companies – they did 120 for us for $90, and we paid cash, so no tax.
