This past weekend, I created our STD magnet and already pressed the ‘order’ button on vistaprint… but now I’m having second thoughts as to whether or not they’re as cute as I originally thought they were. I’m hoping I’m just being a perfectionist but a girl at work asked to see them and she didn’t really give me the response I was going for. Not that she thought they were awful – but there wasn’t the whole “omg how cute!” Instead, she added her two cents on ways she would modify it. (I guess she missed the whole “I ordered these this weekend” part of the conversation…)
So… what do you think? Do you think the white background looks weird? I was trying to make them look ‘unique’ but now I’m worried I missed the mark. Honest opinions please. Thank You as always! xo

Your STD design reminds me of “The Giving Tree,” which happens to be my favorite childhood book of all time. All the pages are in white so for me, this is a “thumbs up” to your STD design. I wouldn’t change anything.

@milesbella: THANK YOU FOR NOTICING THAT 🙂 It was modeled after “The Giving Tree” because i LOVE that book and the message it sends! I’m all about trying to incorporate meaning into everything and that was my subtle way of incorporating the message of that book (i didn’t even think of the white pages – but i like it!). thank you thank you thank you. it makes me so happy (obviously lol) someone noticed that!
@Sschaf: @wstonesifer707: and thank you to both of you as well. i swear planning a wedding makes me such a crazy sometimes!

I think you did a great job especially if you were trying to incorporate The Giving Tree. I love save the dates with the little calendar, it makes me wish I had included it when I designed mine.
