@bellagio: ….removable glue dots…. ohhhhh, now I’m curious!!!!!!  Where did you get them and are they like the sticky glue stuff you can just peel off the back of cards and stuff?  (think the fake credit cards you get in the mail…)

@bellagio: oh, awesome!  I’m planning on sending out business-card-sized magnets with my STD’s (ok, so they are the std’s and the little booklet of mix drink recipes is so it isn’t just the magnet being mailed out…).

Thanks for the info!!!!

LOVE your STD’s and the design!  I love the florish and the style!  Very romantic! πŸ˜‰

@bellagio: That’s actually really cheap!  (I mean that in a “that’s awesome it didn’t cost an arm, leg, and first born child” type way!) And being a graphic designer is helpful!  I’m a bit of a graphic designer, too, but I’m also a digital artist.  It’s been fun figuring out ways to do things myself for less than what it would be if I bought it!

Are you using real flowers or making your own?  I’m not too shabby at arranging flowers (mostly because I used to raid my mom’s flowers and also pick mountani laurel and wild roses and arrange ’em! lol) but I’m making ribbon roses!

If you want a kinda cheap method of practicing (if you using real flowers) maybe this will help:  raid someone’s garden or pick lots and LOTS of wild flowers and practice with those!  Arrange them in a vase then use a ribbon to gather them together while in the vase.  Lift out, and wrap!  Or, just lift ’em out, wrap them down a ways to get an idea of what it’ll look like, and put ’em back into the vase to keep until they wilt!

Sure, the colors will be different with your wedding flowers, but you’ll become a pro after a few vases worth of arranging and look at all the fun you’ll have! πŸ™‚

@bellagio: you’re welcome!!!!  You could probably do the same with silk flowers!  Arrange them in a vase before wrapping ’em up!

http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/my-bouquet <– I have pics of my bouquet there!  My bridesmaids will have little bouquets that will either be in a bulls-eye form or a more random arrangement.

I’m putting off ordering the ribbon, but I DO have the samples and I know what I’m gonna order, when I do!

oooh!  I’ll snap a photo of my current arrangement on our kitchen table!  It’s a mix of ribbon roses/flowers and artificial flowers in a vase!  I’d soooo duplicate it for my bouquet if I thought it would work, lol.
