We did save the date magnets.  I blocked out the information about where our wedding is.  It just has the city, state that our wedding is going to be at in the same font as the line below it (just larger text).  Anyways, they were printed on a very high quality thick magnet.  You can order a sample from the company to get a feel for the quality.  That’s what I did =) I compared them to magnetstreet.  Liked http://www.agiftfulheart.com/ much better =)

We got magnets from http://www.weddingpaperdivas.com.  They did a custom color for us instead of the black for free.  (And they always have sales!)

*This isn’t us, it’s the stock photo from their website.  🙂

I used weddingpaperdivas.com.  I have used them before and they actually called with a question when it was going through their editing process, which I thought was amazing.  Fiance took the picture on the front.  It is actually a postcard and the back has a little blurb about us and why the photo means so much.  Its the enterance to the beach on the street where I grew up and where we met many years later.

I know it’s old and it’s weddingbee, but the subject of this thread STILL makes me giggle.

I had them custom designed from http://www.paperwhitespress.com on cream paper and I added a magnet to the back (from Michael’s). I wrapped them in a doily and tied them with tan/pink twine before stuffing them in the cream envelope. 🙂

We had our save-the-date picture taken with E-pics then used http://www.vistaprint.com to print them as postcards (without the watermark!). On the back we had our names and such.  So easy and so cheap. We paid 30 dollars for 100 of them and that included envelopes. They always have deals going on too, and you can upload any design you want!

Here are our DIY save the date magnets. We are planning a Bilingual wedding to accomodate half of our guests whom do not speak any english. The image of the bicycle as well as the H monogram is from The Wedding Chicks’ DIY section (so many cute crafts there!). Fiance and I worked very hard to arrange and design everything and we are pretty satisfied with how they turned out (even if they are a bit simple). Sorry for the low quality of the pictures.
