Hey bees!
So, I ordered a sample STD, and just wanted to get some opinions before deciding to go forth to order enough for our guest list! It’s the 3.5″ x 4″ magnet. Also, the actual picture doesn’t look blurry on the magnet. If you’d like some details about the wedding, we’re going for a “rustic elegance” theme.

….anyways, OPINIONS PLEASE! THANKS!! = )
P.S. sorry the pic is sooo huge!

It’s cute, and I get the “rustic,” but honestly I don’t get the “elegance.” If you’re going for fun, I think you nailed it though!

Rustic elegance makes me think of something like this:

Your save the date is more western than rustic elegance, in my opinion.

@RunnerBride13: Thanks….we wanted the save the date to be more fun and save the more elegant stuff for invitations, etc.
@prettynewpenny: You’re definitely right…that screams elegance.
I guess I didn’t necessarily mean ELEGANT as in a black tie affair. It’s more “rustic/western elegant” for sure. The only reason I even used the word elegant is primarily due to our centerpieces, charger plates, chairs, etc. Anyways, thanks for the feedback so far!

I love the magnet idea! They definitely won’t forget to STD 🙂 However, I don’t really care for it too much it kind of looks like those western wanted posters :/ IDK if that was the look you were going for, but I think this is waaaaaaay too rustic.

I would keep looking. I think it’s cute though — where did the sample come from? We got ours from http://www.magnetstreet.com and the quality was amazing. We chose a save the date that allowed us to put multiple pictures of us. We liked that because it made it more about us then a theme =) but I love the theme idea too. There was one on magnentstreet before called country something or other and it had cute hearts. I’m trying to find it for you but I don’t think they offer it now.

What about something like this?? It’s probably more plain than you’re looking for but I agree with OliveJuiceHunny. IMO it sorta looks like a “wanted” wild western poster.

Check this one out too, it has a rustic feel to it, but with a script font it’s a nice contrast

Hope it helps!

@FutureMrsBG: i really like the second option you suggested. That would be really cute and looks like it would go with your rustic elegance theme 🙂

I like it. I think the STDs are your chance to have fun! That’s the route we took.

I think it’s cute and fun. I don’t look at STD to be elegant or formal. Ours were basically a collage of photos we took shortly after he proposed nothing elegant of formal about it. I do think you should do whatever makes you happy! By The Way, we are twin dates! EEEKKK! (sorry I get excited about this type thing)
