- Wedding: July 2012
Disclaimer: we are already legally married. We have been married for almost a year (will be almost 2 years by July 2012), and everybody knows about it. It was a rushed courthouse ceremony because we wanted to be done with immigration to start our life together. After 3 years of airport goodbyes and no being able to make any plan ever, it was time! Next year, we want to finally get married religiously (it is important to me and to my family). And of course, I want the party, the big white dress and so on. I’m only sending Save-The-Date Cards to DH’s side of the family One year in advance since they are the ones who will have to plan in advance and travel overseas.
So what do you think about this wording:
“Please save the date for the religious ceremony celebrating the union of Hirondelle & Mr H.”
Or should I just skip the Save-The-Date Cards altogether?
