@jaglynn17: I would wait until after. That is what I am afraid of too, so we are waiting until January or February to send them out.

Hey! Last year I sent out our Save-The-Date Cards with our holiday cards! It was also nice to have everything out all at once and we saved on postage. It worked out great! Here’s some pictures of my Save-The-Date Cards.

P.S. We used clear photo corners to mount the Save-The-Date Cards to the top flap of the STD.

I would just send them out in January. I HAVE to get out the invitations in December since our wedding is in February and I have the same fear. I don’t have much choice though since I’d like them out 8 weeks prior to the big day.

Mine is in October, I know I am super early on STD’s but, half of the guests invited are from out of the country and a quarter are from Out of Town. It will make it easier for us to figure out the hotel blocking we need (because we will need a lot) and a lot of our guests have already started asking about it.

well i would say i’d let you know but by then it will be too late. i have to send out invititations right after thanksgiving, not even STD’s (i love that we call them that btw. so funny) Luckily i’ve sent out the STD’s (hehe) so hopefully everyone knows what is up already.

I’m having the same problem!

I want to get them out before i move in January, so i was thinking December would be best. My mom told me the other day to wait until January so it doesn’t get mixed up in the shuffle! I’m in such a pickle!

I’m thinking I’ll have the Save-The-Date Cards done before i move (we’re moving from CA to OR) and then just keep them in a safe place until mid January.

Hey month twin. We’re going to send ours out in January so they don’t get lost in the holiday shuffle. I’d rather wait a couple of weeks to get them out than have them get misplaced!
