Hi date twin! I don’t love the idea of sending them together, we are holding off until after the new year since we don’t want it to get lost amoung all the holiday mail.

A friend of mine who got married last August sent her save the dates as christmas cards. They were adorable, it was an ornament that we were able to hang on the tree.

I wouldn’t mind receiving a combo save-the-date/Christmas card, especially if it had a photo of your adorable dog on it! 😉 I might refrain from calling yourselves by FI’s last name only (even with “Future” preceding it) and save that fun little perk for once you’re married though, but of course, that is totally up to you!

Is that an Airedale or a Welsh Terrier!  SO CUTE!

I like the idea, but maybe say something like “Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!  This year will be extra happy, as we will tie the knot on DATE, and hope you will save the date!”

Or something.  The wording can definitely be improved…

I voted no because people may overlook the STD info or forget to keep he card after Christmas. I would send them seperately.

We included STD postcards inside our Christmas cards.
