Nope. I wasn’t even totally comfortable with them seeing the kissing photos. Too private.

Why do you have to share them all? I could see asking (contractually) your photographer to keep the more intimate photos private (off of their blog/website) if you are interested in having them.

We don’t have the funds for any kind of engagement photos, so I’d never considered it even an option.

@unixfairy:  uhhh I doubt it… I mean I could see a cute pillow fight in pajamas but boudoir? My parents don’t need to see that…

I would and I would keep them private. Just as I plan on doing boudair photos for him before the wedding, those will be for his eyes only… so we could have our own as well. Tastefully done is key.

I guess my question is- why would you?  Would they just be for you two to look at?  I wouldn’t feel comfortable sharing them with family… that seems inappropriate.

I can already tell where this thread is going… If you like and/or want photos like that, sure, why the heck not?  Obviously you aren’t going to send the link to your grandma but if you’re proud of how the two of you look with a little less on, and you don’t have careers that would be negatively impacted if someone saw the photos then sure.

No, that’s not my thing at all. I am pretty young, but I am a very private person and would not like any photos of compromising material to be shown to ANYBODY, especially plastered on the INTERNET.

I think it’s a little weird when I see them online – but I would consider doing them in the same manner most do boudoir photos and just keeping them private. I can’t imagine them online though – yikes!

@unixfairy:  I’ve found when anything couple’s boudoir related comes up the responses to it here are pretty conservative/negative.  Everyone is entitled to their opinions of course, but as a photographer I think it’s really cool when people have the guts to set outside the zone and do something like that so long as the photographer does it tastefully and beautifully.

I would definitely consider it. I think it would be great to have some beautiful photos of Fiance and I. However, I would never post them on the internet or even show my family and friends – they would just be for Fiance and I.

@unixfairy:  I think I speak for everyone when I say, post a link!!!  hahaha

I would do them and keep them private for us.  Would never want them to end up on a blog for all to see.
