Hi bees! I need unbiased opions….I recently started feeling crazy dress regret. I adore my dress but the neckline where that V part is is starting to really really bother me. I’m having alterations done now, so do you think I should have my seamstress add lace to soften that V? I just feel that point is all I see when I look at my dress! Thanks in advance xxoo

I think you might be focusing a bit too much on that v– the rest of the dress is beautiful and all of the elements work together well. I don’t think you need to change anything at all!

reee: Your dress is really beautiful. I honestly have been feeling some dress regret too, I am starting to think it’s normal when you buy something so expensive that is such a symbolic and important item to have these feelings. I too love my dress and I think like PP said, we tend to focus on certain elements too much. I love the deep V on your dress and I don’t think you need to change it 🙂 hope that helps!

I really like the V but if you don’t then maybe get the seamstress to tack a tiny lace applique in there to fill the “dip”, then see if you prefer that before committing to a firmer alteration.
