Well, it’s not my e-ring but it’s been my stand-in while my ring is being sized ๐Ÿ™‚

I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between it and white gold, honestly!

@Mrs.Vowrenewal: Not at all.

My friend also has a sterling silver ring that she wears 24/7 and it doesn’t look tarnished from what I can tell. She’s been wearing it for about a year, too! I’m not sure if it depends on your body chemistry, or what it is?

I hope more people respond to this post because I’m curious about other people’s experience with sterling silver, too!

is that a sapphire? that color is so pretty. I would say take it off around water or if your very sweaty. It will help to keep it from tarnishing and also always take it off for cleaning and you should be fine

I have a sterling silver right hand ring that I use to wear all the time, now more so when I dress up for dates with my hubby. ๐Ÿ™‚ Its held up good.

Its from walmart, its 1 carat TW of diamonds in a cluster. They’re not the best at all of clarity but they still sparkle like crazy lol. & No one can tell its sterling silver & not white gold. Even placed next to my white gold e-ring & band it looks the same as far as the color of the metal. ๐Ÿ™‚

I like sterling silver, it holds up very well IMO.  The only jewelry I’ve ever had tarnish was silver ‘like’ jewelry, and only then when it sat in my jewelry box.  You can purchase those cleaning cloths from Wal-Mart if you notice a spot on your ring (I hear you shouldn’t use them too often) but I just use a toothbrush and some dish soap on anything with stones.  Plus, you don’t have to worry about the rhodium coming off like you do with white gold Laughing

That ring is beautiful!!  I think the only spots that might appear darker would be on the sides around the smaller stones, but it may just add the the ‘antique’ look of it!
