somathemagical : My whale was actually only my first one! I’ve got an appointment booked for a dot work deer that I’m going to get on my shoulder. The artist books like 6 months out. The artist I went to for the whale also booked months out. So this process is slow going. As soon as I get the deer I’m going to book an appointment for a highland cow. Then I want a chipmunk, a giraffe, and then the narwhal. Hopefully in a couple years l will have made good progress.

lovelyruby : what’s the significance of getting the animal tats? even if there’s no sentiment behind them, the whale looks great!!

Ohhh!!!I totally love it!!!!!
My boobs are way to big/saggy to get one to enjoy like that. I have mine on other spots 🙂
Have you worn a bra yet!? I can imagine that is not going to be fun 🙁

I totally got that OP was just being playful.
Perspective is everything and life is short.

sassy411 : Our society obviously has a great deal of trouble separating the big deals from the not so big deals.

I just got a lotus and unalome tattoo about a month ago!
I am WAY to chicken to get a sternum tat. No photos but mine is on my side boob/upper rib. The unalome/lotus combo’s are usually supposed to be completley vertical but my tattoo artist curved mine to go with the curve of my boob and I LOVE how he did it. Seriously so in love. It also has a lot of sentimental meaning for me, so its probably my favorite tattoo I have.
I have a high pain tolerance and this wasn’t even on the like side-side of my body (like entire ribcage or whatnot) and it hurt like HELL. Gah, I was in so much pain for it. I said I’m done for a while since that one hurt so bad… but there’s something about the type of tattoo pain that makes you coming back for more LOL.

I have a divorce tattoo…. thatʻs basically a certified non-virgin stamp 😛

I joked with my husband just yesterday.. “do you think people who get underboob tats, when they’re like 85, lift up their tits to where the tat is and think or say, ‘this is where they used to sit.’?”

Have initially misread “sternum” as “scrotum” and was momentarily horrified.

sweetdee89 : no bra yet. It’s gone from sore to itchy and I just don’t want anything to rub on it until it’s healed. So it’s bandaids for me.
sassy411 : thanks bee. You got me.
missmollybee : sweatergal007 : thanks!
kmbumbee190618 : it. HURT. like. Hell.
hampsterdance : lol
ilovelift : lol yes. I do. I picture myself at 99 having some poor undertaker trying to figure out what it is and laughing.

somathemagical : laughed out loud when I read that your boobs are like Steve Buscemi’s eyes. From now on I’m pretty sure when I see Steve Buscemi pics or movies, I’m going to think of you and east/west boobs!!
Also @slomotion can you please change your weddingbee avatar pic?? Thx

That’s beautiful!! Was it healed when you snapped that photo? How long did it take? My torso is super short so I don’t think a sternum tattoo would suit me. I got the moon phases tattoed down my back a few weeks ago. I don’t have a photo of it healed yet but I’ve been meaning to snap one now that I’m past the itchy/scabby phase!
I have 9 tattoos but here are a couple that were visible at our wedding:
