Yep, that sounds about right. I never buy fancy makeup, and was shocked when I purchased the ones that my MU artist suggested before my wedding!

Out of curiosity, what gloss and powder did she suggest?

that’s ridiculous! I’m a big makeup fanatic and do splurge often at sephora but I don’t think i’ve ever spent THAT much money on 2 produts. Wowzers, hope you love the products!

Your makeup artist doesn’t provide the makeup?!

Geeeeeeeeeeeeze. I’d like to know what brand she suggested, too. I think that’s probably what my entire makeup collection costs.

LOL and this is exactly why MUA charge what they do along with their talent b/c they spend a lot of money building their kits to use on their clients ๐Ÿ™‚ … there’s always DIY but its your WEDDING DAY ! EVERYONE has eyes on you !

All “brand” name stuff is more expensive in Aus – even stuff like Revlon. I paid $40 something for foundation, whereas here in Canada the exact same product is $15 – $20 regular price. MAC is generally awesome stuff though, so sometimes it’s worth it just to suck it up if you can.

Well, Mac is amazing, but I think I’d freak out over the cost.

I must say that that’s extremely expensive especially if wetware on a budget. Butfeet again MAC is an excellent product so splurging this one time won’t hurt!

in Canada I believe studio fix costs around $42. I only use Mac products a little more pricy but you pay for quality and a little goes a long way.
