Have any of you tried this? I bought this yesterday from sephora but now I’m 2nd guessing it. Its supposed to be long wear so I thought it wouldnt rub off when I touch it like a lipstain but it does transfer to m fingers everytime I dab at it and I’m thinking I should take it back and get an actual lipstain… What was your experience with it ?

it’s probably like the “long wear” lipcolors that were so popular in the 90’s. like, some will transfer off, but maybe not as quickly as regular lipstick? I’d say put it on every day and see how you feel about it in a week. they will still let you return it, I’ve returned tons of used cosmetics to sephora!
I’ve heard good things about MAC.
personally, I hate the totally non transfer lip colors (like maybelline superstay 24 lipcolor). they look good as long as you don’t eat anything with oil in it (like a salad). after eating, the color flakes off unevenly around the inside of the lip. then when it’s time to re-apply, it’s super hard to remove the first coat, and the 2nd application of the day looks dry and terrible.

@janie-janie: Its so hard to find good lip color!! I tried one lip stain by loreal and it made my lips feel soooooooooooo dry.

I absolutely hate the lip “stains” that are thin clear liquid — the ones that are supposed to literally stain your lips all day, and make it look as if you have been sucking on a red lollipop (for example: benetint).
none of them work for me at all! as soon as I put on lip balm, less than one hour later most of the stain is gone except for a weird dark patch in the middle of my lips. exfoliating does not help at all.
I am hoping for somebody to invent a lip stain that really stains the lips for many days — kind of like self-tanning lotion. who is going to invent that?
