Call!  I wouldn’t have waited this long to call her in the first place.  She’s clearly not responding to emails, so now its time to get in her face (so to speak!).  Good luck!

Call her and if she doesn’t answer, follow it up with an e-mail that lays out the whole situation (like you did above) and ask what’s up.  I strongly encourage you to keep very detailed records of your attempts to contact her.

Call her!

I think she is being terribly unprofessional!

I think you should seriously consider whether you want this person to still be the photographer for your wedding. It seems like she’s avoiding you and I would be devasted if my photographer spaced on my wedding photos.

Yikes…our photographer has it in his contract that he will deliver us our photos within 30 days…I think having a time limit is helpful.

I didn’t think about the short notice for a new photog.

Maybe as a backup you could get a student photographer who will be really cheap. I know people who used to do that in school to make a little extra cash and build hteir protfolios.

I don’t want to scare you but here’s my story: My photographer did something like this. But I was planning a wedding in Houston and I live in NYC. She disappeared after our engagement. I’d already paid all the money owed. She did come back and give a BS apology. However, since we had seen the preview and the pictures were stunning, I ignored my vibes. A year later, I had to travel to Houston and call the cops in order to get my DVDs. She started ignoring me after my wedding. No calls, would not return texts and was dodging my emails. I got some dvds and was able to do a recap and her pictures were great. However, I had to fly there, involve the cops and I still don’t have some of my pictures. Forget the over 1k we paid for album and prints, I’m not sure I’ll ever see those *sigh* FWIW, I’m a lawyer. So document, document, document. And have a strong talk with her. This is troubling.

What did she say in her email?

Was she apologetic?
