Ok girls I need your help.I am a very expressive person ( i was that punk kid that was made fun of everyday) I like things different and spotainious, and lively. I keep looking at my dress and feel it is not me yet but don’t know what to do. I even got fuchsia shoes that i added skull and cross bones to the bottom in jems ( and no the stuff does not have to be morbid or punk i like fun and bright things.) I am going to tydye my vail orange and fuchisa ( it is a bird cage vail) but i still feel like it is missing something any ideas or do you think it should just leave it and add something like jewlery or a hair pice. thanks all for listening to me again.

( dress was not totaly laced up ( the back was still a work in progress becasue it was a sold as is but now laces up all the was)
here are my shoes

You look totally unhappy in your dress… maybe you should just cut it short and call it a day! Dye it a different color? Add a funky strap?

@MrsNeutrino:
I agree. Tea length would look awesome!

@MrsNeutrino: This is what I would do: Cut it tea length.. dye it a light rose color.. add some tulle that shows a little under the dress the color of your shoes…with the birdcage.. it will be a totally different dress… but I am pretty out there too..

Hmm…I agree with @MrsNeutrino – do you actually love your dress? I just don’t think you seem too excited about it. I am not sure about dying a veil either…I feel like it wouldn’t ‘match’ the style of your dress.
Have you looked into getting a short dress??

To me, that is a pretty traditional, conservative, ‘safe’ dress… and from what it sounds like, that’s not YOU at all!! i love PP’s suggestions of cutting it, dying it, adding colored crinoline, maybe fishnets? You don’t look happy 🙁 and that makes me sad.

I love love love what you’ve done with your shoes. Before you cut the dress, think long and hard. You can’t undo something that drastic. What about changing the lace-up ribbon to fuschia to match your shoes?

I was reading your post, and loving all of the stuff about colors, gem skulls, pink shoes, the colored veil….and then I scrolled down to the picture, and your dress doesn’t seem to match your personality! I was expecting something different, and maybe you were too! I pictured something along the lines of what the other bees said… Short (or tea length) with colored tulle sticking out the bottom (then you would be able to see your pretty shoes) and a big hair flower! You don’t look like you are standing tall with the “dress of your dreams” in the pictures 🙁 Do whatever makes YOU happy, and have fun with it!!
