U.K. Part one and then French Alps part two!!! Everyone had the best time…. I will recap very soon properly!!!
i had MASSIVE dress regret and issues with fittings…. some snaps dress looks reasonable but check out the monster on the last photo!!! but we pulled it off…. We got married and oh my word was it epic!!!!
I feel sad because I spent longer choosing my bridesmaids dresses than my Own… certain angles I feel my dress looked a mess!!! I was even the last to be ready on my wedding day (not my fault) and it was mayhem! but other than not loving my dress it all was amazing just wish I’d picked a better dress!
There were lumps and bumps in the wrong places and as a uk size8-10 it made me look so much heavier! the front part was so baggy which made me look shapeless in pictures and the seamstress simply couldn’t take in anymore due to the dramatic backless feature (or she couldn’t be arsed because we had such a difficult time sorting the top part )
i just want want to smooth down and pull in the stomach area when I see these photos it’s driving me crazy! I have felt better in party dresses!!!
but all this said our wedding weekend was amazing emotional epic fun and incredible with so many wonderful guests

What are you talking about?
And I mean that in the kindest way possible. 🙂

bless you thanks all
for the sweet comments!! I had to keep wriggling about and pulling the dress down and flattening it down… you probably can’t tell in these shots but it was a pain and it is frustrating the amount of money these things cost not to be perfect ! There were often lines going across the dress as well… Whether or not the lining needed pulling down more I’m not sure and a kind of baggy pouch round my tummy!!
all this said I wanted brides to know that even though the dress wasn’t everything …. Everything else really was incredible and I’m still “buzzing” and everyone enjoyed it!!xxx

You look lovely. Weren’t you freezing on the Alps? I’d be a huddled up, shivering wreck but you look as nonchalant as if you were sunning yourself on the Riviera.

HOLY MOLY! That wedding really WAS epic!!
(and what are you talking about your dress, you may have felt lumby and bumpy, but man, I don’t see that AT ALL. Stunning)

Congratulations- I love a winter wedding and with snow- so lucky! 🙂
Seriously, you look really good as a bride in that dress. It’s got a real ice queen look. Please don’t regret it! If you want honest critique of your shape in it, you definitely look a slim size 8-10 (UK), not bigger at all (I’m your size so I recognise what it looks like) and the dress lifts your bust well – especially considering you say it’s backless. I think lace dresses do tend to add bulk because of all the detailling, but in the photos it is not noticeable at all. Don’t be hard on yourself. Glad you had a ball in the alps! x
