Ok so i have had dress regret pretty much since ordering my gown, it is gorgeous, Alfred Angelo Cinderella 216 it is just so pretty but it’s just not me. I went dress shopping 1 year ago and i didn’t have the whole “yey this is the one moment” I just thought yeah this is pretty.

When i was in the dress shop my mam loved the dress the consultant loved the dress and yeah it was pretty so i bought it…but it’s not me. I always wanted something either red or tea length and i just keep looking at tea length and wishing i hadn’t bought my dress.
Should i try a tea length dress on and see how i feel and if i love tea length sell my dress or just stick with it and feel just ok on my wedding day?

nearly-mrs-R: You can certainly try on a tea length dress but you may not find it as “bridal” looking as a long dress. I have seen some stunning long red dresses. Have you tried on a red dress?

Astra: No, i tried on the ivory version of a red dress i had seen and it was just awful really hot and heavy.
You can’t really find many red dresses around where i live sadly.

Girl you can make that tea length!
bring the waist up to a natural level, and the hemline will automatically be tea length, and it won’t be a dropped waist/mermaid shape anymore
you can also dye it, if you really want it red
a good seamstress should have no problem doing both of those things for you
dont let anyone else’s opinion get in the way of your dream dress. It is YOUR wedding, and YOU have to wear that dress and look at those pictures for the rest of your life

I would love to see this dress on you. What is it about it that you don’t like? I’m not sure how far away your wedding is, but perhaps you can attempt to sell it (there are soooo many sites) and purchase another one.
