My fiance and I will elope next year to Canada and I’m starting to yearn for color. I have placed a deposit on a lovely ivory a-line by Amsale but I feel like I want more *pow*. I fell in love with this lovely orange tulle gown

It’s out of stock everywhere and I found this other one that is stunning as well

I can see myself getting married in orange and it feels so natural. I’m not sure if this is just a random crisis or case of a wandering eye. I know my Fiance would think I’m beautiful no matter what I show up in (at least that’s what he tells me). The other part of changing dresses is that I would have to hunt either one down in my size.
The Amsale that I’m purchasing pre-owned is two sizes two big and will need alterations. It’s a dress that I saw two years before the proposal and fell for. Brand new it’s totally out of budget, pre-owned is mildly stretching it.

I’m totally in love with your orange gowns. If we were eloping, I’d have snatched up a bright gown in a heartbeat.

@salejolie: If you want to get married in orange, get married in orange! Both of those dresses are gorgeous and you want to feel as amazing as possible as you marry the love of your life, right?

The orange gowns are more memorable than the white gown you posted. Orange doesn’t scream bride but who cares. Wear what you will feel the most comfortable in.

Have you thought about dying the tulle under the white gown orange?? Since you’ve already paid the deposit for the dress you might as well keep it! Here’s an example of what I mean (and I think it’s gorgeous, still white and classic but so unique)

Go for orange!!! Amsale gowns are really easy to resell. Keep the tags attached and don’t alter it. Piece of cake.

I love the second orange gown, so pretty! Maybe have both! That way you get the best of both worlds!

I almost had my wedding dress made and it would have been a replica of the white dress you posted. I loved it and its simplicity so much!

salejolie: I love colored gowns, but i also really love that amsale gown! Maybe you could add color to the amsale? like an orange sash or dyeing it. If not, go for orange!

salejolie: go orange if that’s what you really desire. Go to some shops and try on orange dresses to make sure it’s what you really want. If it is just go for it!

Keekers: LegallyBrunetteBee: I stayed with the Amsale, and now that I’m 29 days away (eeep!!!!) I haven’t looked back. I also got a reception dress that I plan to dye at a later date. I’m not lusting after color anymore; decided to go with some beautiful peonies and having henna on my hands. I think it will be incredible all together.
