Hi @webby! I’m guessing you are talking about Sandals Grande??? If so, my husband and I honeymooned there for a week after our November wedding and LOVED IT!! I found the resort to be very clean, safe and gorgeous 🙂 The landscaping was beautifully maintained and lush, the water was perfect and there are many many pools to lounge by… Overall, the food was not amazing, but we I figured that was just the downside of going with an all-inclusive.. everything else was amazing though.. Definitely splurge on Gordon’s (only restaurant not included in cost of stay) it was delicious!!!! Be prepared for the the two-hour drive from the airport to the resort. We slept the entire way because we were so exhausted. You can take a helicopter ride, but it’s very costly… I hope you and your hubby-to-be have as great of a time as we did! CONGRATS 🙂

It is beautiful! We went from Jan. 2-8. We stayed at the Regency and visited the Grande. I noticed that the water is lighter at the Grande than Regency. The guy that drove us from the resort told us that part of the island is in the Atlantic Ocean and part of it is in the Carribbean. We ate at the Barefoot at the Beach at the Grande and it waas good. We also took the Joe Knows tour, which was also good.  I can’t wait to go back.

@webby

I just wrote a review of the Sandals resorts in St. Lucia. We stayed at the Regency, but checked out the Grande too while we were there. I think you’ll be really happy with Sandals!

We’re still deciding on the honeymoon, but that’s one of the places on our list.  Looks amazing!  And the reviews on tripadvisor are really good!  I think you’ll have a great time!

I also wrote a review of all the Sandals resorts in St. Lucia. I think you’ll find some great info with a quick search. We really liked the Grand for its beach and evening events.

Would anyone mind sharing how much their honeymoon cost for their Sandals honeymoons?

@pengoala: We had a walkout room at the Regency (we were able to walk onto our patio which was a few feet from the pool). It cost us $3200 for 6 nights.  They also gave us a $250 spa credit, champange, and breakfast in bed.

@pengola we paid about $5500 which included airfare, hotel for 9 days and excursions (4 total which cost about $800 on their own).

@martysgal: Thanks!  🙂 We’re still dreaming about Tahiti over here, but I’m being realistic and doing my research!
