Hi lovely bees!
Fiance and I are doing each other’s stockings this year (FI didn’t have one as a kid so I did one for him the last few years, but up to now my parents paid for the stuff in theirs, my sister’s and mine). We have set a budget of $50 each and have given each other ideas for what we’d like.
I have about $14 (AUD) remaining for FI’s stocking and couldn’t think of anything. Until I thought of maybe doing up a ‘moving in together’ survival kit for him. It would need to be fairly compact, to fit into the stocking.
Fiance and I are moving in together in the next month or two so ideas to put in the survival kit for him would be much appreciated! These would be things particularly more for him than for both of us.
Any other cheap but fun stocking stuffer ideas for him would be welcomed too!

Jacqui90 : I don’t know how fun it is, but I always put a refill pack of razors in for a stocking stuffer. They’re kinda spendy, but always appreciated.
I also usually get him a new toothbrush and floss.
Boring, but usually well received

Erm… Deodorant with a note saying – ‘to prevent sweating the small stuff’
Im stumped now haha

Fun! Maybe a special mug that’s just his, ear plugs if you snore (ha), those double USB outlet adapters since you’ll have double the electronics to charge, a reading light? Not sure how good any of these are, sorry!

Those are some great ideas! I appreciate it. I have got deodorant for his stocking already. He and I support different rugby league teams (and are both very passionate about our teams) so I bought two mug and coaster sets. One is his team and one is mine, I’ve wrapped them both up for him in the same package but labelled mine as mine. I think that will get a few laughs! That’s a good idea about the toothbrush and razors, they certainly would come in handy!
ETA: I do snore and he does like loud music and often goes to pubs with loud music or concerts so earplugs would doubly come in handy!

Chocolate- always a good go to. If you’re adding cute notes you could say something like ‘to savour the sweet moments’

Batteries (regarchable if he has a charger, and if not then the charger is also a great Christmas gift!), glasses repair kit (if he wears them), fancy/special/interesting soap or other cosmetics, Mad Libs, little gift cards for a coffee place or Amazon or iTunes, sports or music paraphernalia/memorabilia, fancy stuffed olives… I’ll think of more and post again! 😀

Maybe a phone SD card so he can save more memories of you guys on his phone
Or just download plants vs zombie 😉

I was at Target today and saw a flask that looked like a banana. I couldn’t stop laughing. Add that to your survival kit to put fully stocked in the fruit display.

Darling Husband and I do stockings for each other every year (our limit is $50, too!), and some of the big hits over the past few years have been:
– A bottle of homemade hot sauce
– Credit card mult-tool (similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/Pocket-Survival-Credit-Card-Multi-Tool/dp/B00A4EYWAG)
– Black and tan beer layering tool (https://www.amazon.com/Perfect-Black-Tan-Beer-Layering/dp/B008A1XLXY)
– Personalized flask
We’re really into board games, so some card-based games like Phase10, Battle of the Sexes, etc. have been good gifts in the past, as well. I’ve also done tickets to a movie he wants to see or similar.

We keep ours practical. Toothbrush, razors, and a small amount of candy. Once in awhile we get a small gift card for starbucks.

These are fantastic, I will definitely use some of these!

Darling Husband loves Halloween, and saw a Lego vampire that he liked. We have a few seasonal Lego dudes for different holidays, so I got him the vampire to go with his bat already. I think it was like $7.
Other things in his stocking – skittles (his favorite candy), new iPhone charger, iTunes gift card for his phone game thing, and a bottle of his favorite beer which is seasonal and only comes out in December.
