pedialyte is better than  gatorade as a starting point, as it is more of a concentrated rehydration drink. you’re supposed to start with teaspoon sized sips, and see how well your body tolerates that before you get comfortable drinking. I had the stomach flu at 10 weeks (hell on earth) and I found that when got to the sipping stage the sips started off making me feel horrible but I didn’t throw up again! Good luck and don’t be scared to go to emerg if you’re dehydrated.

I had the SAME THING around the same time as you.  It was awful, and I am so sorry you are going through this.  I second the suggestion to drink pedialyte.  It was disgusting, but it doesn’t have the sugar that gatorade does (which can make the diarrhea worse).

Call back to your office if you go 8 hours without holding down ANY fluid at all, they’ll send you to the hospital L&D unit for fluids.  Once you do stop throwing up and get the urge to try semi-solid foods, make sure you stick to the BRAT diet- bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast.

I’m 24 weeks and JUST got over the bug! I too called OB in a panic. Pedialute is best and water. Keep sipping even if you are puking cuz you’ll still retain a little. My OB told me no need to panic until I hit a 48 hour mark. 

The first day all I could handle was ice chips and like, 4 sips of ginger ale. 

2nd day I had chicken broth, dry toast, fruit Popsicles and water and pedialyte. 

By day 3 I was drinking normal but stayEd on the brat diet. (Banana rice applesauce toast) 

im fine and just had a regular check up and baby is fine too! 

Feel better! It is for sure the worst!!!
