@roweboat:  I had my gall bladder removed about 12 years ago.  THAT was excruciating pain.

But really…when it comes to stomach issues, it could be really anything….but if you have severe pain again, go see a doctor to be sure.

I had that a few years ago.  We were on vacation, a bunch of my friends and my younger brother.  He had to carry me to the car and we went to med center (at the beach).  They took x-rays and it showed a picture of bubbles all over my stomach…. yeah gas.  Growing up I’ve always had intestinal/stomach stuff going on.

You should make a Dr.s appt. so you can figure out if it’s ulcers flaring or something else.

Are you stressed about anything?  I’ve had a lot of stress-related stomach issues; often doing something like yoga or stretching helps because it just helps to calm my mind a bit.  I hope you don’t experience that again!

@roweboat:  How old are you?  Once I hit 28 or so…I just found that I could NOT tolerate the same foods i used to…

maybe it’s just excess gas or something just didn’t agree with you.  Keep track and on the lookout for if it happens again.  But really, if you have sudden unexpliained pains again, you should have it looked at….

Hopefully it’s just indigestion.  If Pepto or GasX or Tums doens’t make it go away, go see a doc about it!

*I’ve also found eating more fiber and drinking more water helps aid digestion too.  I hope it doesn’t come back..but if it does, make sure you get yourself checked out by a doc!

@roweboat:  This happened to me a few weeks ago. It happened each night for an entire week… I did not get much sleep!!

I think it was the flu (it was going around my office in different forms). I said that i’d go to the doc if it didn’t improve after a week, but it did.

@roweboat:  Knowing I’ve always had stomach problems, unless it goes on too long, or I’m actually crying, is when I see the doctor.  Some things just are a one off.
