@HelleCat:  I really like the first stone! There’s something about the second stone that looks odd, but maybe it would look better in a setting?

All else being equal, I’d go with the double faceted. Sapphire usually has a lot less fire, and I feel like the double faceting might help with that. But then again, I really like a lot of fire in my stones.

I like the first stone better, the double faceting of the second makes me think of Portugese cut stones, which cheapen the look of the gem, IMO.

Is that second stone also a white sapphire??  I’ve never seen fire like that from a sapphire… number TWOOOOOO!
