Yeah I think it happens often. Might as well be proud that it gets so much attention!!!

If they can’t stop staring, I’d take it as a compliment. I’ve had my e-ring over a year now and *I* can’t stop staring at it still.

I am also highly guilty of staring at other’s rings as well.

What can I say, if it is sparkly, I look at it.

lol I am guilty of it all the time.  Its because I love anything that sparkles my eyes just keep following it. lol.  Its not a bad thing.  You must have a pretty sparkly ring.

I personally love it when that happens. I like talking jewelry with like-minded women who admire my pieces. I don’t see a problem with staring at a ring unless the woman is being obviously condescending about it.

I know the feeling, no one in particular but I get embarrassed about people staring since I don’t want them to think I trying to show it off. But its normal, you can’t stop wearing it for that lol

If she likes your ring enough to want to look more than once, it’s not such a bad thing I think. Idk, people don’t really do that or if they do I don’t notice.

<<<<<<< GUILTY. Lord, I cant stop from doing that either hahaha. If it’s someone I know, if it’s someone in the grocery store passing by or if it’s a stranger that I’m talking to….I always do it! I work with the same women everyday but I always find something staring at looking and analyzing. It’s awful. That also might because I have wedding fever and I am waiting for my SO to propose ๐Ÿ˜‰ can’t stop!

Who can look away from something so lovely??? I certainly can’t!

Obviously your co-worker can appreciate a thing of beauty. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeah, this happens to me sometimes. It’s a little uncomfortable because it’s like, hey, either make eye contact with me while we’re talking or just make a comment about the ring and move on! But I agree, we should take it as a compliment.

Maybe she’s jealous.  Maybe she’s sizing you up.  Who cares?  It’s a compliment that she wants to look at it that much.

I mean if she asks to look at it and like takes your hand in hers to look at all the angles more than once, that’s weird.  But if she’s scoping it out while you’re talking, she’s trying to subtlely look at it without staring.  You can’t see much with glances so multiple ones make sense if she’s trying to get an idea of what your ring looks like.

My boss did this when she interviewed me and it drove me nuts. BUT, I do it to people to haha, I think ever since we talked about getting engaged I have made it a point to see other ladies rings. Its a bad habit now.

@Willow1991:  The lady I work with now did it while I interviewed her. No one is exempt from pretty things!

@stillme:  Just think, they could be staring at your chest instead. ๐Ÿ˜‰
