We have recently stopped in anticipation for our June 22nd wedding. I was originally planning on stopping a month before but then Fiance and I got into this weird conversation and it ended with us almost daring each other to stop then (2 months before the wedding). And I have to say that it is either the best or worst thing on the planet. Something about knowing that we can’t do it just makes us want to do it even more. So far, we’ve been able to control ourselves, but it hasn’t been easy. It makes me super excited for when we are actually married!

My Fiance have decided to go the entire year of our engagement without sex. Its for more reasons that making our wedding night sex memorable, but nonetheless it will definitely contribute to an amazing first time together as husband and wife (:

@caits615:  We do live together.

Like I said, we have definite, important reasons for this. Its not always easy, but its right.

Fiance is a virgin and requested to wait until marriage. I was totally ok with this because it is important to him and I find it exciting. We fool around, but only up until a month ago. I started having some medical problems. We have been out of the loop for since then that honestly I think I can hold out until the wedding night.

We live together and will continue to sleep in the same bed, but nothing sexual until the day of the wedding, which is July 6.

@SaraP2012:  She probably means dead tired, lol.

Fiance and I talked a long time ago about abstaining a couple weeks before the wedding, but I forgot about it.  As it turns out (if we make it), it’ll be about 10 days.  Part of the reason is because of my period, then we’ll be at my parents’ house (and I hate having to try to be super quiet).  My BC kind of kills my sex drive, except for the off weeks, so I think there’ll be a little more anticipation with the wait.  And it’s always very enjoyable when we haven’t been able to have any in a while ;).

My fiance and I stopped a few months ago and our wedding is in a year. It’s for religious reasons on my behalf, and he agreed to it because he supports me and my decision
