mrsmfsh :  yes the David’s Bridals in Denver are all relatively the same. My best friend got married a couple years ago and we went shopping for dresses at David’s Bridal in the aurora location, the Littleton and Thornton location and I did some of my own shopping at the Fort Collins location. All were very similar. It’s a good store to get your basis of what shapes are good for your body type out of the way because they have a nice big selection.

As for your other question I haven’t done much shopping with BHLDN. I ended up shopping at Anna Bé Bridal Boutique for Berta dresses in Denver as well as The Alter Bridal Consignment in Lakewood. I was able to get a beautiful dress there that was half the original price.

Good luck on your dress hunt!

I live in the Midwest, but went to 2 David’s. I went there first to narrow down the silhouette I wanted. I was actually surprised with what I liked, it was the opposite that I thought I wanted! I highly recommend doing that first and then going from there. Take a friend to give you a second opinion, and then when you go back home you can start to narrow it down! It saved a lot of time for me as I was able to hone in on a few shapes I liked, and didn’t waste my time with shapes I had no interest in. As for BHLDN, I have never been to one, so cannot comment.

I think you would see relatively the same things since Colorado is kind of inthe Midwest so it would be similar styled brides for the most part. Anything that is on their website for the most part will be at every store unless that particular location sold out of it which st that point they could direct you to another David’s or try to order it in from another location. Either way going to David’s will be a great place to start because they have such a selection that you can narrow down what dress is best for your body type and go from there. I thought that I wanted a flowy A-Line but I look terrible in a princess dress and had to go for a much tighter mermaid style gown. Don’t get too caught in Pinterest cause you definitely need to try dresses on in person! :-p
