So I decided to call today to see if there was any news on the dres..I called multiple times and every time it would ring and ring and ring and then it would just go busy and hang up. Since I am beyond upset with this situation and the Duluth store didnt answer.. I called the Athens, Ga. store and spoke to Layla. She was so helpful and even though this had nothing to do with her store she still took time out of her day to help me out and try and calm me down. She was the ONLY one to explain to me what actually happened and that the dress was over-ordered and had to be made and sent from over seas.. at this point I feel like not only should she get FREE alterations, but she should now be refunded IN FULL for the dress.. I still have not heard back from anyone in the Duluth store with a tracking number or even an update on where the dress is.. I am probably one of the calmest people when it comes to my wedding but this situation is ridiculous and someone dropped the ball and honestly the last thing I need to worry about a week before my wedding is IF one of my bridesmaids dresses is going to be here in time.. If someone had told me that this dress wasn’t available and it was going to take 20 weeks to get here, we might have been able to pick another dress or talk about alternatives.. but alas I was not told until tonight (by another store might I add) why all this has happened.. I can promise you I will never return to that store again.
So.. I decided to write an email to the district manager and I called back the CEO’s executive assistant and left her a voicemail. This is just rediculous!
