I’m sorry to hear that. Good luck getting a new one!

I thought about getting my dress cheaper online, but now I’m very glad I decided not to.

Do you happen to have any pictures of the dress you chose? I would love to see what was wrong with the dress.

@trisha:

Sorry about your experience, and thanks for letting others know.

I would also like to see a picture.

Hi there Trisha.

Wish I read your blog before my SOD purchase because it is a SNAP.  My experience was identical.

I decided to get the dress of my dreams via a chinese based (US front) website Store of Dress.  I asked all the right questions but got a terrible product that they wont take responsibility for and am out of pocket to the tune of $380 (+$45 for setting up the website).  I’m not saying that others shouldn’t go down the “cheap from china” route but I would like to suggest you visit my website first before you make your mind up.

I’m doing what I should have done from the start.  Looking at some lovely ready to wear dresses by the likes of http://www.bhldn.com and in the high street + going on the second hand /sample wedding dress websites.

cheers

Cherie
