MissDahlia08:  I’m also in northern CA- hi there! I know bevmo used to, but I haven’t tested it out recently…

MissDahlia08:  Costco!  They’ll buy back unopened wine and cases of beer!! 🙂  That’s where my family purchased alcohol for my sister’s wedding and where to plan to purchase the alcohol for mine.

Technically, it’s illegal for stores in California to buy back alcohol. Your best bet is to call up individual stores near your venue, because some will do it quietly regardless of company policy. I did this with the San Rafael Bevmo, but that doesn’t mean all Bevmos will.

MissDahlia08:  I was told by my caterer that both Bevmo and the Jug Shop will take back unopened cases of alcohol, but I would definitely verify this with the store.
