We used to have an LS Ayres and it was my favorite store. It’s gone now, but its memory lives on :*(.

We used to have a shoe store Wild Pair and another named Parade of Shoes. I miss them both.

Steve and Barry’s is the first one that comes to mind. There are others though if I sit and think for a bit.

I miss Dayton’s.  Cry  It was a local department store that was THE BEST.  I have such fond childhood memories of that place, but then it got bought out by Macy’s.  I hate Macy’s.

@LiliKitty:  Was just going to post this… that shop was awesome.  Especially when SJP released her Bitten line there.

Gemco, Fedco, Montgomery Wards and Thrifty…..it was bought out by Rite Aid, but I loved their ice creams….and I know Rite Aid kept them, but for some reason they just don’t taste the same, maybe it is childhood memories.

@GroovyHippieChick:  The only Mervyn’s I knew of in the area closed about 2 years ago.

The only other store I recognize here is Tower Records.  Man do I miss Tower Records. =(
