My dress was a sample in the store- so it’s been on a hanger for a while- glad to read this though I will move it to a box now and try to spare it any more suffering =)

@Oneeleven: What store was that at? Mine was a sample dress but hadnt been on the rack for very long and I have to get alterations done to it still but not until september.. I could have gotten a new one but it would have taken 5 months and my wedding is in 3 months.. I wonder if they are doing the same to my dress.. but yet again if anyone ever tries a purchased dress and and gets maekup or anything on it then the store would definetly be held responsible for that and there would be problems so I bet well known stores wouldnt do that due to the issues that could happen..

hi ladies, I just got my dress and it has alot of beading and lace. I’m going to purchase a box on ebay to store it. I’m not sure what size box to buy though?

Is it allright to fold it numerous times? and is there anything I should be aware of when folding? like don’t fold it more than 3x?

Does it hurt to hang a strapless dress on the fabric hanging straps? My dress came in 4 months early!

WineAndCupcakes :  Could you please let us know the brand of the extra large storage bag/box? Also since this is 5 years ago how did it end up working for you? I need to store my dress for 13 months.
