I think the curls look a bit more special than the straight hair…it just looks like more time was taken, and it is more “styled”, if that makes sense.

But both looks are lovely on you!

You have VERY pretty hair, but I feel like the curly Bob looks a bit more special.

P.S. I have the same dress as pic #2.

Normally, I’d say the curls, and I’d have to see it from the front, but from these two photos I think I  have to vote for the straight over curly.  I’m just not a huge  fan of a curly inverted bob.  They can IMO put  the emphasis on the wrong part of the face.  In this case the straighter hair also shows off the lines of the cut beautifully, which gives the style plenty of interest. It’s simple, but timeless and beautiful.

I am a big fan of bobs and I am in love with the first one – I would probably gawk at you in the street just in jealousy over your hair. But both do really look great depending on the look you are going for. The curly one just seems more “dressy” than the straight one.

While I get that the curly style looks more fancy, I like number 2 better. I have a bob too and I considered curling it for my wedding, but I was worried about not looking like “me” and worried that the curls would fall throughout the day. So I got a fancy headband and had my florist add flowers to it! I felt pretty darn special, without curls!

ETA: There are so many awesome headpieces you can try that look great with shorter hear, depending on the look you’re going for!

@Keetie84:  I’d go for a wavy bob since I think the curls look poofy. If waves are a no-go, then straight!

@Keetie84:  If you do curls, I say do them looser, and more wavy than anything else. The curls are too tight and poofy. Otherwise I say do something like remijp did.

    Something like this:

#1. I agree #2 is more day to day look.

I would go straight OR with a more subtle wave, as

As someone who is a brunette and who has curly hair that I sometimes straighten, I am going to suggest that you wear your hair straight. Your hair looks far more shiny when it’s straight and sleek, because it reflects the light much better.

I think the curly looks so soft and romantic and really flattering on you.  The sleek bob is very sharp.  But it depends on the wedding dress — if you’re wearing something really sleek and modern, then the straight bob might be better, where if you have something soft and romantic, the curls will fit better.
