I’m actually for the straight neckline on you, but it’s a preference thing.  Either way looks great!

I’m usually all for sweetheart necklines but I actually like it straight on this dress.

I agree with PP, I usually go for the sweetheart neckline, but the staight suits that dress better IMO.  Also, with the ruching the way it is, it might be difficult to alter the neckline.

I’d try the dress on before you buy it for sure… but if you’re willing to risk it then I think a slight sweetheart would work but not too sharp or deep like the 2nd picture.

I think the straight really suits the dress, and you could totally work it. If you want to sweetheart it, I’d keep it very minimal.

I think straight or a slight swoop. A traditional sweetheart would be too much, in my opinion.

Love, Love Dress #1 pictured. I think straight would be more flattering with a ‘pinched’ sweetheart or slight, not the deep V since your very busty! (I too suffer from DDs) BUT i got a sweetheart and having tried it on in MY size it works better! =) Best of luck in your decision!

Hope you dont mind me posting my boobs on your thread!

DDs in a Sweetheart neckline! (& a dropped waist) OLD PIC!

My dress is a slight sweetheart and I think I’m going to keep it that way – I have some cleav that would be a little porno if I went deep V… but maybe something like this would work?

I’m sure this is terrible advice, but I was a three dress bride and losing baby weight during the process too… I still don’t regret that final dress that looked so good on me!

I had the same concern you did about looking boxy since I have extremely broad shoulders, but ended up keeping a straight-ish neckline.  Mine has an ever so slight dip, but is for the most part straight.  See what you think!

Mine started out pretty much straight across, and we had it altered it to this:

It kept my shoulders from looking boxy without going to the extreme. If you do decide to alter it to a sweetheart, I wouldn’t go any deeper than this.
