I think your dress would look awesome with a sweetheart neckline!

The sweetheart neckline would be awesome. I got mine converted to a sweetheart and I will upload pics once I dowload the pics off my camera. It turned out really great and it adds that much more to the dress.

I would do it. I think a sweetheart neckline just adds something to the dress. If you decide not to though your dress is beautiful as is.

The neckline was the first part of the dress that I was SURE about…sweetheart all the way!!

Your dress looks beautiful on you the way it is though, if you decide to leave it as is!

is that maggie sottero carrie? i tried on that dress and the fact of it NOT being heart shaped is the only reason why i didnt like it lol. but i must say the striaghtline looks very elegant on you.

I think it looks beautiful as it is, but the sweetheart would look very pretty as well. I had a dress changed to a sweetheart. Ultimately I decided not to wear the dress and sold it, but it had nothing to do with the neckline alteration. Here are pics of it before and after:

Honestly, I think dresses should remain as they were designed by professionals.  I don’t undertand the craze about “making” sweetheart necklines.  They were designed the way they were by professional designers for a reason.  That’s my two cents.

If that is “Carrie’ it’s the dress I bought, and the only thing I don’t really like about it is that it’s nto a sweetheart. The first Bridal shop I went to said it could not be altered into a sweetheart and so did another shop. I saw a picture of this dress altered into a sweetheart on this site though, so post how it goes if that’s what you decide!

Yeah, I’m deciding between the straight vs sweetheart as well! It’s a little nerve wrecking to think about the quality of the alteration, but I would love to have it done too! Good luck with a choice but either way, you look beautiful in the dress!

I would change it! But I’m biased, because I love sweetheart necklines.

I thnk a sweatheart neckline opens up everything and makes people look smaller.
