So ive always been regular 28 days since i was 12. Even after the birth of my 5yo they returned 28 days after the post-partum bleeding stopped. After each miscarriage my period has returned and once again its been a 28 day cycle.
Charlie was born sleeping in march at 20 weeks i had 2 regular cycles but then my next one was 21 days. Im not sure if i ovulated or not and ive only just started tracking with OPK’s and just ordered a BBT thermometer but im worried that my body doesnt want to get pregnant and maybe i wont ovulate. Is that silly? or could this happen? Its been 3 months since we lost charlie and im on cycle 4 so its not as though i havnt let my body recover and ive been so much healthier since april too lost 23lbs so far so i doubt weight is the issue either.
has anybody been through this before?

bouncybee: I’m so very sorry for your loss. I would get to charting as soon as you get that BBT thermometer so you can have a better idea of what’s going on. Hopefully your body will straighten itself out soon. Congratulations on the weight loss and getting healthy, that’s something I’m working hard on myself.

bouncybee: So sorry for your loss. I haven’t been through anything like this, but I just wanted to wish you luck. Congrats on getting healthy and losing the weight, hopefully you’ll be updating us with a BFP in the near future.

sorry for your loss 🙁 well its possible that your weight loss could be affecting your cycle. I’m not sure what you’ve been doing but any major changes to diet and exercise can have short term effects on that kinda thing. 23lbs is great for you but its also a decent amount so just keep that in mind

I guess in addition to my comment…. yes even if the weight loss is part of the reason you shouldnt have any issues… it may just take some time for your body to adjust to your new lifestyle!
