Craaaazy. I am one of those who usually says that the brain is mysterious and most of what we “see” is more about the way our brains are perceiving it that what is really going on.

But holy crap! If that were going on with me I would be flipping out! Ha..ha.. (Nervous laughter)

seriously.. I got goosebumps reading this.

You know, as a Christian myself, I struggle with this stuff but I know people who are intelligent, analyzing, and not easily swayed and they SWEAR to me that they have physically seen ghosts.  I have no reason not to believe them, but I just don’t know how I feel about it.

How long have you lived in your current home?  Has Fiance noticed anything strange?

i believe it, i watch ghost adventures faithfully lol. after my grandmother died a couple months later i could smell her living room in my own home. my grandma lived in louisana and im in GA, but i swear it felt like i was there again. i always see shadows fly by or things out the corner of my eye. lights flicker, and immediately i think of al oved one that has passed and a certain one when these things happen so i do believe its them. i wouldnt be alarmed, shes probably just checking on you. ๐Ÿ™‚

@badabing88:   Oh, wow.  I’ve had experiences similar to these myself.  If you really believe it’s your grandmother trying to communicate with you, you might be right.

Tell her you don’t want to see her (I actually had to do this when my grandmother passed away and some strange things happened to me).  I said out loud, “Grandma, I love you.  I am happy you’re trying to communicate with me.  But please don’t materialize to me, because you will scare the shit out of me.  Just know that I love you and please leave now.”  And after that I didn’t have any more “grandma” supernatural experiences.  I had smelled her signature perfume very strongly a few times but that was it.  Also, that was a new house, so no other ghosts around.

With my house now, it was also new when I bought it.  But I’ve had some strange incidences occur, that are supernatural, over the past several years.  Nothing sinister at all, but strange in the same way what you’re experiencing is strange.  What I do to calm down the spirit activity is burn sage and walk through the house with it.  You can also annoint your door jambs with oil and make the sign of the cross.  You can pray as you walk around with the sage that only beings of love and light are allowed to be in this place.

It always works for me when things get a little agitated, spirit-wise.  Things like emotional upset, death, illness, stress, etc., can stir up activity because the energy is attractive.  Focusing on controlling it and not giving into fear is helpful.  Fear and anger are not what you want to project.

Obviously the fact that you’re attracting these things means you are very sensitive to spiritual things and may, in fact, have a special spiritual gift.

@CarpefnDiem:  +1 I would think of it as her checking in.

I always get goose bumps reading stuff like this because I do believe stuff like this does happen. I have never experienced but I have heard enough stories from credible sources to believe it!

@badabing88:  Aw, well, consider ghosts aren’t omnipotent and she was probably busy, lol.  True, though, she may not have been there at that time to hear you.  If you want her to manifest, don’t give up.  But expect that more likely she will show up on her own time and do her own thing.  You can’t expect a ghost to hear a “prayer” or a “request” like you can expect God to hear that, because God is omnipotent and omnipresent, and only God is.

Whether you believe or not it’s worth a shot if you want to calm down the spiritual energy.  I am a Christian, but I also practice some things that are Wiccan in nature (I am not Wiccan but think their rituals are beautiful).  I also read tarot cards.  I’m sure many, many Christians would want to kick me out of the club.  But I believe all it takes to be Christian is what the Bible says it takes, and that is to believe Jesus is God and I do believe that.  So, anyway, I digress.

I missed my grandmother so much, too.  She was my favorite person on earth when I was a child.  I still miss her.  But they have to move on and your grief will heal with time.  She probably will visit you, though, so be patient.  She may come to you in dreams, as well, my grandmother has done that a few times.  Not just dreams “about” her but where she was communicating with me as the spirit she is now – and it was so real it was amazing.

If you don’t want to burn sage just keep an eye out for what’s going on in your home.  I’ve seen shadows zip by me, too, and I figure I know what it is.  I’ve told it it can only remain if it behaves properly, lol.  I’m not up for any supernatural drama.   ๐Ÿ™‚

@badabing88:   Yes, possibly.  If it’s her it would work, I’m sure.  If it’s not her be careful what you say, lol.  Be respectful and if you feel afraid, angry or upset leave the vicinity immediately.

Burning sage will calm the energy, also if you have any fresh rosemary put it in a pot of water and boil it gently on the stove a few minutes.  Light a white candle or two.  ๐Ÿ™‚

@badabing88:  Also, you are correct that it could be attached and attracted to you and have nothing to do with the place.  Either of those things can happen – attachment to people or to places.  If you’re sensitive, and I expect you are, it’s highly possible.

@badabing88:   Very cool!  Please keep us posted on how it goes.  I’d love to hear what a psychic has to say about what’s going on at your house.
