Of course you have a right to be hurt, feelings are just feelings and you always have a right to them.  I would just keep doing what you are doing, focusing on your relationship with your FH and ignoring the rest.  Let him deal with his folks and you just keep on loving him, in the end that is all that really counts.

Sorry you have such troublesome Future In-Laws, but thankfully he is a solid believer/supporter of yours. As PP mentioned, that’s all that really counts! Keep ignoring them – GL 🙂

You have a right to be hurt but I wouldn’t take it personally.

It’s their son and they want to make 150% sure he’s happy and making the right decision, no matter how they think about you. The action of asking him is hurtful in itself but I’d like to focus in the fact that he’s looking out for his son instead of trying to be mean with you.

Try to keep it positive =)

Geez. I would agree that he may be looking out for your Fiance, he may also have asked to make Fiance second guess himself and question his love for you. Be glad he answered so quickly and with some conviction, hopefully Future Father-In-Law can stop doubting you now.
