Does your pet ever do something strange(although possibly funny) that just makes you stop and say “What?!?!?”
My Fiance is doing some hardcore interning/grad school work. He gets up super early and since I get off late (around 3am) I haven’t been sleeping in the room. However this week I’m at my parents house/pet sitting with the louder pets we have.
Today I was in the basement watching a movie when the phone started ringing. I started to walk upstairs when I heard this very low, intense howling from my parent’s two Huskies. Then my beagle joined in on the low, intense howl. Then their Cocker Spaniel and then finally the cat started yowling. When I got upstairs they had knocked the phone off the stand and were all standing around howling at it.
Later on I came home to a message being left on the answering machine by my mom. But I could barely hear her because their Husky and spaniel were barking so loudly. When I got into the room they were BOTH standing on the table with the answering machine just barking at it and wagging their tails.
When I talked to my mom she said, “If we don’t answer the phone within a ring or two the dogs always knock it off the stand and howl at it. Once it’s finished ringing either Nakita and Draco(the Huskies) will pick it up and sit it back on the table.
Then some how(about 10 minutes ago) all the dogs got into a locked room and got the door closed on the them. lol Although I suspect it was the cat because he was sitting in front of the door just as pleased as could be.
Animals….they’re just so silly.

My 8 month old kitten has a new favorite sleeping spot – in a bucket in the laundry room! After I found him in there a couple times I padded it with a blanket for him, but I think he could care less. It’s way too small for him so he just curls up tight and goes unconscious for hours!

If I lay my towel on the bed right after I get out of the shower my dog likes to roll around on it. I think she must like the way I smell.

Our dog goes CRAZY when I go to put the sheets back on the bed after washing them. He runs all over the bed and tries to attack the sheets, sometimes he ends up getting made into the bed cuz he won’t move! He especaily loves “helping” me put the duvet back into the cover. He “digs” on the cover and rolls all over the duvet until I can manage to get it back together and on the bed. Then he curls up on the freshly washed bed and takes a nap – must be tired after all that excitement!

My dog sleeps in the bathtub. And he takes showers with my FI! I find that weird but, hey, I guess they both like the company, haha.
He also burps! Neither Fiance nor I have ever had a dog that burped. It’s pretty funny when he does it.

Our cats both really enjoy sitting on paper. We can’t leave any notebooks, bills, etc. lying around or they’ll nest on them. One of the cats also likes to steal hair elastics and hunt my tape measure, which can be quite annoying when I’m trying to sew.

Every time my doberman farts, he quickly looks back at his bum…. “that came out of me?”

My parents used to have a dog that would go underneath the coffee table and scratch her back on the underside of the table. You would hear these little thuds from the legs lifting up a teensy bit and going back down, and then you would hear her grunt. She was so cute. I had a cat in high school who would always sit on my books while I tried to study and try to chew on my pencils as I was writing. I liked to blame my poor grades on poor lil’ Humpty

Our daughter has one particular hoodie that our cat ALWAYS finds, whether it be in a basket of laundry or hanging on a chair, and he’ll drag it out and curl up in it. Too cute!

haha I love these stories. Pets are just too stinkin cute sometimes. As I’m typing this(laying on the bed) one of our cats is head butting me and meowing instantly. lol I think he wants some attention.

My weagle (beagle-weiner) likes to steal all of our socks. And just the socks. So now we have at least six socks scattered around the house, and she likes them dirty too, the won’t play with the clean ones lol. And when she gets excited she’ll collect them in a pile, so she’ll have like 5 socks in her mouth at once…it’s hysterical.

Both of my cats fetch, and I guess they don’t realize that the game stops when I go to sleep. I wake up with multicolored mini soccer balls covering the bed. One of my cats (Felix) loves q-tips–totally gross, and he will dig through the trash to get them. I had to get a special q-tip holder so he won’t get in the bathroom cabinet and rustle some up. He also likes straws. I will bring home a soda, set it on the coffee table, and come back to an absent straw. Felix the cat is a little bit of a punk. He will hide in the cabinet and wait for his “little kitty sister” to walk by and then jump out, scaring the bejesus out of her.

My poodles sneeze when they’re excited. Not just one little sneeze but a huge sneezing fit.

My little girl cat LOVES to sleep upside down. Here’s 4 separate occasions now.
So our puppy has been following suite.
My little boy cat will ATTACK you for your peeps.

OH! I knew this guy who had a super fat gray and white cat. He was hilarious. I guess he spent most of his days trying to break into his food tin because he was just a giant fatso that wanted to eat all the time. THat wasn’t the funny thing, though – he had a little stuffed animal that he would carry around in his mouth…he would drop the toy on the floor and start HUMPING it!!! He only humped that one stuffed animal. I saw him doing it once and just about died laughing.
